The Buying Assistant will report to the Buying Director Europe and be responsible for the following: 

  • Seasonal order entry and PO maintenance and tracking, for all Own Bought and Licensed categories
  • Price change management for ad-hoc and seasonal markdowns, as well as in-store promotions 
  • Support team by running reporting data for weekly, monthly and seasonal analysis
  • Maintain administration and filing of all buying material and buysheets, including third party catalogues and lookbooks
  • Build relationship with licensee partners and responsible for sending weekly sales results
  • Manage product Change Log, Delivery delays, QC issues and Chase requests
  • Be point person for Buying team, able to answer all first line queries and escalate where appropriate
  • Create seasonal buy overviews for Ecom and Retail teams and assist in putting together quarterly buy Powerpoint presentations
  • Assist in populating weekly Top 10s, monthly SRM documents and hindsight documents
  • Create Wardrobing document to share with Operations team 
  • Responsible for Store Comms vis The Deck
  • Support team with competitive shopping and ad-hoc pricing and competitor analysis / feedback
  • Build rapport and network with cross-functional partners both locally and in Corporate office



 Skills and Experience required

  • This role is Excel intensive and highly numerate and analytical so you must have a high level of proficiency in excel, word, and powerpoint
  • Excellent time management and communication skills
  • Highly organized with a strong eye for detail
  • Ability to multitask and focus in a busy entrepreneurial atmosphere
  • Great Team player
  • Flexible and dynamic
  • Passion for fashion and accessories
  • Bsckgound in fashion buying, planning or merchandising
