Position Summary
The Luxury & Chaps Marketing Associate is a key role within the Wholesale Marketing division, responsible for executing all omni-channel marketing activities to support the Ralph Lauren Luxury and World of Chaps businesses. This includes coordinating all details related to the execution of print placements (direct mail & catalogs), digital exposures and events while ensuring that our elevated brand position is maintained throughout. The Associate will work closely with internal agency, content, and sales teams, as well as external partners/wholesale accounts. As the ideal candidate, you should be an enthusiastic team player who is motivated by challenges and embraces the opportunity to partner with colleagues to problem solve. This position is a dual report into the Director of Luxury Marketing and Manager of Chaps Marketing.
Luxury includes Men’s Purple Label and Women’s Collection. Wholesale points of distribution include Saks Fifth Avenue, Neiman Marcus, Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman & specialty accounts.
Chaps is a lifestyle brand that includes Men’s, Women’s, Boys & Home. Wholesale points of distribution include Kohl’s, Belk, Bon-Ton, Hudson’s Bay & Stage.

 Job Responsibilities
• Act as a key contact with internal and external teams in the development, execution and
  communication of marketing materials to support all wholesale marketing needs:
 Clearly write creative briefs and recaps
 Manage timelines
 Collaborate with wholesale accounts, sales teams, RL Advertising, Global Marketing and Retail         Development to successfully complete initiatives
• Manage direct mail & catalog participation for the brands. Includes external communication of brand
  guidelines, internal review of placements, and successful completion within deadline.
 Maintain archive of printed collateral.
• Assist in planning and negotiating online marketing placements with account partners.
• Assist in the development and execution of in-store collateral in partnership with visual teams.
• Track, analyze, and report on brand’s seasonal marketing across all accounts and all touch points.
 Track all marketing placements to ensure they go live onsite as agreed upon with account partners.
 Screen shot/capture all live online marketing activity/initiatives and properly archive.
• Collaborate with accessories and licensed categories, to ensure holistic representation across families
  of business or to create a larger brand statement.
• Manage process of sending samples for national advertising, online marketing photo-shoots, account
  photography, etc.
• Research competitor activities on an ongoing basis. Be the expert in what the competition is doing
  within the digital landscape as well as other innovative initiatives happening across all industries.
• Provide support to Marketing Manager, Director and Senior Director as needed.
• Specific responsibilities will vary based on brand.
• Bachelor’s degree from 4-year accredited college or university.
• 1-2 years in a marketing role with experience handling communications with both internal and external
• Ability and drive to identify and develop relationships with key internal and external partners.
• A creative thinker who is also highly organized, detail oriented and focused.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Ability to think proactively, prioritize multiple projects, and meet deadlines while maintain a positive
• Appreciation for the Ralph Lauren brand and its sensibility.
