Job Details

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain relationships with key contacts for each major department store and any other accounts managed
  • Research market to acquire new clients. Identify opportunities to create new revenue within existing accounts
  • Develop marketing strategy to maximize sales growth and reduce inventory liability
  • Extensive knowledge of all the brands in a company and ability to discuss business with HQ.
  • Compile weekly, monthly and end of season selling reports
  • Analyze business by style and by door for each account
  • Determine strategies to maximize sales growth and reduce inventory liability.
  • Manage showroom preparation and selling materials before market
  • Work with accounts in the showroom, present the collection, help build assortments that best represent the brand and the customer who shops the store.
  • Market reconciliation: sales confirmations, orders input and reconciliation. Track shipping for each account.
  • Confirm purchase orders, sales confirmation, sales contracts, etc.
  • Oversee merchandise to clients and warehouse operations of shipments
  • Regular market visits to maintain brand awareness, merchandise selection, gather competitive intelligence and deliver product knowledge training.
  • Hire, train, and manage sales coordinator and interns

 


Benefits:

Compensation 60k to 75k - TBD by experience

Requirements

Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of wholesale experience in the fashion industry
  • Experience working with luxury RTW and accessories categories in a wholesale environment.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Solid understanding of retail math including mark-up, sell-through, OTB and gross margin
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel functions and formulas
