U.S. Sales Representative for Socota Group

Job Details

Primary Responsibilities

●      Identify and acquire new retail, wholesale, and brand accounts that align with the product capabilities of Socota Group
●      Recommend products and answer questions about products, lead times, prices, credit terms, etc.
●      Negotiate contracts and provide customer support as needed
●      Keep up with fashion brands and trends in the U.S. and Canada
●      Represent Socota and increase recognition of the company within the U.S. and Canada
●      Monitor customer experience by soliciting feedback on product quality and delivery satisfaction

Secondary Responsibilities

●      Perform comparative shopping to stay up-to-date with Socota’s competitors
●      Coordinate with other departments such as marketing, management, accounting, and logistics
●      Attend trade shows and conventions


●     Sales experience with a proven track record in women’s, men’s, and/or kids’ fashion
●     Bachelor’s Degree in fashion merchandising or marketing preferred
●      Ability to solve problems and commit to delivering on Socota’s motto: New-world fashion solutions out of Africa
●     Experience building relationships with mid- to large-sized accounts. Existing relationships are a plus
●     Excellent communication and leadership skills
●     Passion for high quality fashion products
●     Strong working knowledge of fabrics/textiles
●      Ability for frequent domestic travel and seasonal international travel
