Position Description

  • Reporting to the Head of North America you will become a Brand Ambassador whilst leading your team to offer an exceptional customer experience in store. You will be accountable for creating a highly productive work environment focused on driving sales and exceeding targets through exceptional customer service, leadership and people management.

 

Key Responsibilities:

Boutique Manager

  • Fully responsible for all store operations and administration
  • Ensure that opportunities for improvement and/or any issues or concerns are communicated to the Head of North America regularly and in sufficient detail
  • Trusted key holder responsible for closing/opening
  • Drive sales daily whilst also proposing initiatives and potential events to attract the right clientele to the store

 

Leadership & People Management

  • Responsible for the integration and training of new starters
  • Responsible for on-going staff training, coaching and development
  • Daily, weekly, monthly team/one to one meetings
  • Monitor individual KPI’s, investigating issues where necessary
  • Motivate team to drive sales to achieve store target
  • Manage staff issues, escalating where necessary
  • Ensure all staff adhere to Monica Vinader dress code policy
  • Ensure staff comply to company policies, procedures and instructions at all times
  • Develop and maintain relationship with the Monica Vinader London Office teams
  • Hold bi-annual performance reviews

 

Customer Service

  • Ensure the team deliver a consistent and exceptional standard of customer service
  • Greet all clients with a friendly and welcoming demeanor
  • Establish client’s needs, offer guidance and advice
  • Maintain high level of customer service at all times
  • Mystery shop reports should not be below 75
  • Manage all customer issues following Monica Vinader company guidelines

 

Clienteling

  • Ensure staff are empowered to clientele and manage VIP customers
  • Collect and update customer information to ensure efficient use of client book and accurate data capture
  • Develop and maintain client relationships in line with Monica Vinader company guidelines
  • Network and develop relationships with corporate clients
  • Assist Marketing with arranging Boutique events

 

Store Operations

  • Ensure store is kept clean and tidy at all times and that visual merchandising is maintained in accordance with company guidelines
  • Ensure the appropriate processing of:
  • store maintenance and snagging
  • stock deliveries (including investigating any discrepancies and reporting the outcome of the investigation
  • internal/external transfers
  • maintaining back stock, trays, packaging and cash desk
  • in-store services (including engraving)
  • repairs and damages
  • compile and execute all Boutique reports
  • boutique/staff Health and Safety
  • P&L

 

Cash Handling and Payment Processing

  • Ensure sufficient staff training is carried out prior to staff processing payments
  • Process payments, refunds and exchanges accurately following company guidelines
  • Open/close/reconcile tills daily investigate any discrepancies fully, report issues to Retail Manager
  • Process daily banking, petty cash and expenses

 

Stock Management

  • Adhere to Monica Vinader stock management policy
  • Responsible for daily stock take cycle counting, investigating discrepancies and reducing stock loss
  • Report discrepancy/stock loss incidents to Retail Manager
  • Implement process to ensure accurate stock management is maintained, and continually look for opportunities for improvement

 

Recruitment

  • Be part of the recruitment process, interview candidates and compile feedback
  • Responsible for the integration and on-boarding of new starters
  • Position Requirements

 

 

About you:

  • Fluent in English
  • Experienced in managing and leading a team with a proven track record of success
  • Customer obsessed and always prepared to go the extra mile
  • An excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills
  • Proactive, positive and flexible
  • Commercially aware and target motivated
  • Ability to upsell and link sell
  • Ability to build and maintain a client book
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast paced environment, autonomously or as part of a team
  • Minimum 1 year experience in a Boutique Manager role
