Prive is looking for someone who can maximize Prive’s wholesale business by opening new accounts, developing and implementing sales plans, and building and managing a sales team, that may consist of key account managers, independent representatives and contract merchandisers.


Principal Job Responsibilities:  

  • Maximize sales at major department stores by building relationships with senior executives at major accounts to negotiate for budget, sell-in new products, gain approval and backing for campaigns and overall sales strategies.
  • Work with account stakeholders to analyze sell-thru and merchandise accounts to maximize returns
  • Executing sales plans
  • Research, open and develop new accounts and channels of distribution, and negotiate terms that maximizes profitability.
  • Hire, manage and motivate account managers, independent representatives and contract merchandisers to maximize sales through customer accounts.
  • Work with key accounts to ensure company and customer’s profitability targets are met.
  • Report to management on sales and business development initiatives.
  • Forecast sales and analyze business trends and opportunities.
  • Work with sales organization to set individual objectives and personal development plans.
  • Strategize with accounts to plan and execute new product introductions and roll-outs.

Other Functions:

  • Participate in overall business planning and reporting.
  • Provide market feedback to management team to help guide business strategies and product development.
  • Participate in the planning and implementation of selected initiatives as part of management team. 


Location: Can live anywhere in the US, though living in south Florida is a plus


  • 10+ years of experience in managing wholesale sales
  • Experience in selling consumer products a plus
  • Will consider candidates that do not have experience in the optical industry
  • Experience driving sales at major department stores such as Kohl’s, and Dillard's
  • Experience building out and managing sales and regional merchandising teams
  • Proven ability to open and develop large accounts
